Tommy is finally in Kindergarten and boy was he ready!!! Here are some cute pics I got of him at his first day of school. Since his first day of school was actually an orientation for him and the parents, I took two sets of pics. One on his first day and then more on his actual first day without me. I knew he would be excited, but part of me wished he would have been a little sad. Nope, not my Tommy. As soon as the teacher opened the door he was off inside the classroom already making new friends. Since parents couldn't go inside, I had to yell "Goodbye Tommy!!!", he turned around and waved and then he was off. The only one that was a little sad was me. I am so excited for him, but at the same time it is so hard for me not to be with him and be so in control of his surroundings. My poor little Tommy is off in the big world now. (J/K). But he is growning up.

Tommy's Big Catch
Tommy caught his first fish this summer, with the help of Dad and our neighbor Robin. It was a 5 pounder so he needed a little help. Mom sent the camera with Dad so that if by chance Tommy caught anything, but of course the batteries our dead.
Luckily Robin was nice enough to take them out again. This is a picture of the two really big fish they caught. I think one was a 10 pounder and one was a 20 pounder. (Tommy was nice enough to let Dad hold the big fish for the picture:) Now we have lots of yummy Salmon in our freezer.
A special thanks to Robin for taking us out on his boat. These are memories that will last forever.

Our Trip to Forks, WA
Sorry it has been so long since I have posted anything. We have had a really fun end of the summer. Eric's parents came and visited us and we had a lot of fun on our adventure to Forks, WA. (Royden picked our destination, I have never heard of Forks before, and if it wasn't for him, I probably never would have.)
On our short little adventure, we went on a hike, then headed down to the ocean, and then went on another hike in through the rainforest. It was a lot of fun. Here are some pics.
(Tommy is just like Eric and nothing like his mom, he loves to read all the nature signs.)
(Digging sand and rocks out of my shoe)
(What a Hunk)
(Tommy and Pappa went on quite a hike down the seashore. This is a picture of them on there way back. Tommy is picking up sticks along the way. You know Tommy, he never knows when he will need a weapon :)
(Pappa, Tommy and Nanna)
(This is my first hike all by myself, sometimes I just need to sit down and take a breather.)
(Taking a rest after our hike. It wasn't a very long hike, very kid friendly in fact. But Blake insisted hiking the whole thing by himself, which is why we are all tired. Chasing that kid can wear anyone out.)
