I have to say my spring has been much better than my winter. The kids have not been sick for weeks, which is a record for us (knock on wood!!) We have not been trapped inside either. We have been out enjoying the sun everysecond we can. Here are some pics of Tommy and Blake at the local neighborhood swimming pool and also outside playing with some friends.

Here are some fun pics of the boys and one of Tommy's friends Eli. WE took advantage of the sunny weather on Tuesday and went down to Redondo. The boys had so much fun. Blake ran straight for the water, lost his balance, fell down and got soaking wet but to my suprise he seemed to love every minute of it. He went back and did it again. I didn't even think to bring a swimsuit for either of them, I thought we would just play in the sand and have a picnic. I guess I know better for next time. Tommy, Eli and Eli's mom Stephanie went looking for Crabs and found lots of them. Tommy and Blake even decided it would be fun to wrestle on the beach. It was so much fun that I think we will be doing it a lot this summer. We are so lucky to have the beach so close.
Monday for Family Home Evening we planted our family garden. The kids had a lot of fun. Of course, they are boys and love any excuse to play in the dirt and not get in trouble. We planted all sorts of yummy stuff: peas, tomatoes, squash, lettuce, spinich, walla walla onions, green onions, peppers, radishes and Tommy's favorite, Giant Pumpkins. Hopefully we will have some cool pumpkins this halloween.

Here is a cute video of Blake and Tommy on the 4 wheeler. Blake always wants to do what Tommy is doing. So they talked me into taking the risk of having Tommy drive Blake around on the 4 wheeler. My video didn't really capture how much fun they were having, it pretty much taught me not to tell a 5 year old to come and get me while he is on a 4 wheeler and I have an expensive camera in my hands. No joke he really rammed right into me. I don't know what I did wrong, but you can see the video if you click on the X. I am still not computer savy, but I am trying.
