Summer Fun

We have had a lot of fun so far this summer. The fun thing about having 3 little boys is that they are always excited for a new adventure. They love the outdoors, and love to explore new things and places.

On Tuesday we went to Les Grove park with Aunt Mary, cousin Jenna, Catie, and Matthew. And on Wednesday we went to Seahurst beach with Aunt Becca, cousin Ethan, David and Audrey.

Here are some pics of our adventures.

It's that time of year....

Well we couldn't wait for the sun to come out any longer, I mean it is practically
July. So we packed up the boat, the kids and some blankets and dinner and headed out on the boat Friday after Eric got off work. It was a lot of fun, despite the fact that it was cloudy. This year is going to be interesting with Brody that is for sure. We have such a busy summer planned that it might be harder for us to go out on the boat as much this year, but will look for every chance we can I am sure.

Here are some pics of our first adventure this summer.

Eric is excited to have his new truck to pull his boat this year. This way the whole family can drive together, instead of taking two different cars.
Eric has his strong helper, Tommy who is amazing at helping him get the boat ready. He holds the boat, while Eric parks the trailor, and then is in charge of catching the dock and making sure the boat doesn't get scratched. He is Eric's right hand man when it comes to the boat. Especially since I am in charge of making sure a certain red head doesn't fall overboard.
Brody enjoying the ride.
Blake checking out the waters, wondering if it will be warm enough to jump in. Of course it wasn't, but he settled for dipping his feet in.
Doesn't brody look so cute and chubby in his life vest. He is not to fond of it, but does pretty well.
Tommy and Blake enjoying some snacks on the back of the boat.
Brody learning to drive the boat. This is serious stuff!!
A little sad that mom is making him sit down, and that he can not dangle off the side of the boat. Mom is such a kill-joy.
Enjoying dinner on the back of the boat.
