Memorial Weekend Vacation to Utah and Idaho Falls

What a fun vacation. I have realized that we need to take more vacations as a family. It was son wonderful to just spend time with the kids and family and not to worry about our day to day tasks, like work, housework, our callings, ect. Tommy thinks this was his best vacation yet. We flew down to Utah Wednesday morning and Tommy got to go to his cousins Audrey's 6th Birthday party, where he got to see and play with all his cousins. Thursday we went to Uncle Johns where he has horses, and chickens and baby goats. It was a lot of fun. Tommy really enjoyed horseback riding. Blake loved the animals but did not like when we put him on the horse with Uncle John. Tommy and Eric went 4x4ing in the Jeep a couple of times. One of Tommy's favorite parts about the trip is when Daddy and Pappa took him up to the Canyon and taught him how to shoot a 22 at an old beat up pick up truck. We also went on Pappa's boat. It was a real windy day, but Tommy thought it was great, the bumpier the better. Blake wasn't to sure about his life vest, or getting sprayed by water when we went over big bumps. But he never cried. He just had his usual concerned look on his face. We also got to have Family Home Evening with all the cousins and took a picture together with Nanna and Pappa. It was a lot of fun.

We took a day just to go see Grandma Stringham in Idaho Falls. This was so much fun too. We loved just spending time with her, taking walks around the temple and feeding the ducks. Tommy also went fishing with Daddy and Grandpa, but came home empty handed.

Here are some of our favorite pictures
