Playing around with New Camera

Yesterday Eric and I finally had a free moment to play around with our kids and our new Camera. It was a pretty (but freezing cold) day, so we , bundled our kids up and went for a walk down on Redondo.
(I know I have a lot of professional photography friends out there, and I know these are far from, professional, so bare with me.) I can't believe how many buttons there are on these new camera's and so many things to remember, apature, shutter speed, ect. I played around with it so much, half the time I missed a cute moment. I don't know how you guys do it. I am starting to think maybe I should have just went with a point and shoot camera. This is way to overwhelming. And I haven't even started playing with Photoshop yet. Yikes!!!

    Love the one of you kissing Brody. The color in the pics are great. I am becoming more and more convinced Rick and I could use a different camera (Rick will be happy to hear this).

    Your pictures look great, and I know how overwhelming it can be! But the more you use it the more it will become second nature to you. You've inspired me to try to get some cute pictures of the girls. I haven't used my camera in ages just because I haven't felt good!

    Seriously, don't quit! You'll get there!

    One thing you'll learn though, full-sun is not your friend! Try shade next time and you'll be like, "wow! I rock!" :)

    I love your pictures. Since we have the same camera, you are going to have to teach me how you do it. I have had mine for quite some time and my pictures don't look that good.

    so cute!!! You'll get better every time you take a picture. I still have a long way to go...it's why I wear my camera everywhere I go. ;)
